About Quickly

An Israeli AI system that replaces complicated invoicing software with a simple message on WhatsApp.

Our story

Quickly was founded in Israel out of real frustration. We watched small business owners around us - tradespeople, consultants, freelancers, small studios - waste hours every week on things that shouldn't take more than a minute. Opening a laptop just to issue an invoice. Searching for a customer in a screen with 300 clients. Calculating VAT in their heads because the Hebrew interface was broken. Requesting an allocation number through a Tax Authority website that barely works on desktop, let alone on a phone. They ended the day with invoicing software that felt more annoying than helpful.

We thought they deserved something better. Much better.

How we built Quickly

Every business owner in Israel already holds the most powerful tool for creating invoices in their hand - WhatsApp. It's open, it's fast, it requires no installation. The only problem is that it doesn't know how to issue an invoice. So we built an AI system that understands natural Hebrew exactly the way people actually write it, with spelling mistakes, with abbreviations, with prefix letters, and with all the quirks of the language.

Write "invoice to Dani 500 NIS cash" - within a second you'll get a legal tax invoice (חשבונית מס) with an automatic allocation number from the Tax Authority, a designed PDF, and confirmation it was sent to the customer. That simple.

The team

Our team combines two worlds that rarely meet: software development and artificial intelligence at the level of leading tech companies, alongside deep experience in Israeli financial regulation. Every component of the system, from intent recognition in Hebrew to issuing an allocation number from the Tax Authority, was built by developers who understand both the code and the law. There's no outsourcing to foreign teams here. The code is written in Israel by people who file the very same invoices you file.

We're a small Israeli business ourselves, so we know exactly what our customer looks like. We know how annoying it is to wait 40 minutes for support. We know how frustrating it is to discover something isn't working in the middle of the busiest day. We know how important it is that the system simply works, at any hour, on any network, with no surprises.

Our approach

Three principles guide every decision we make:

First, simplicity. If a feature needs a three-paragraph explanation, it probably isn't good enough. We'd rather remove a feature than add complexity.

Second, compliance. An invoice that doesn't pass an accountant's or the Tax Authority's review is not an invoice. That's why every feature in the system is checked against Israeli law and the official BKMVDATA standards before it reaches customers. We are connected directly to the Tax Authority's SHAAM (שע"מ) system through secure OAuth, so every invoice receives a real allocation number from the official source.

Third, being human. You won't talk to an anonymous support chatbot. You'll get a real answer from a person who genuinely understands the system, even when you ask about small technical details, even when you request a change to a feature.

Who Quickly is for

We built Quickly first and foremost for the typical small Israeli business: an exempt dealer (עוסק פטור) or an authorized dealer (עוסק מורשה), with 1 to 5 employees, issuing between 10 and 500 invoices a month. If you're freelancers, self-employed tradespeople, fitness trainers, designers, consultants, technical service providers, small shop owners, or any other business that until now managed invoices in an Excel spreadsheet or old software, this is exactly what Quickly is for.

Tax Authority integration

Quickly is connected directly to the Tax Authority's SHAAM (שע"מ) system through secure OAuth. Every tax invoice issued in the system receives an automatic allocation number within seconds, in full compliance with Israel's invoicing law. BKMVDATA export (the Authority's official format) and PCN874 VAT reports are included in the system.
